Mate, I were about to comment something like "you will not believe me but..." but after reading your comment I can say your the first person to my knowledge that has taken more than me as a habit.
I had an addiction of 700mg oxy daily, if I didn't have many oxys I were chewing multiple 25ug/h fentanyl patches on top of my methadone (160mg). I were a fiend for opiates. Luckily this fiendish behaviour faded and even if I tried again heroin this summer once, It didn't triggered anything. Only reminds me of things I did and period passed on it. I don't have the desire to do it again. Sometimes I use fentanyl patches (now 12ug/h once) to knock me down from stim binges or when I'm sleep deprived from days due to stim use. But as a tool, I'm not looking to get high on them anymore. I don't use benzo anymore due to being physically addicted to them for years and that stuff is worse than heroin.
