Highday Friday is Nigh

With spade on this one. Like nothing more than a few glasses of wine or couple of straight bourbons watching a film or reading a book. Not getting twisted but just enjoying the drinks.

of course! they're not cultured enough to sit at home drinking alone.

Cultured is something they'll probably never be called. Nothing to do with being cultured though but drinking tons of stuff you don't actually like the taste of just to get pissed is a bit strange.

Yep. %)

I appreciate the flavour and drink without aiming to get slaughtered. But if it wasn't for the effects (however subtle), I'd be drinking other things alone this Friday evening.

I don't drink tea or coffee as they taste like shit to me. A nice makers mark or New Zealand sauv blanc is way tastier. Couldn't sit around drinking fizzy drinks either. Horrible shite.

I've just started drinking coffee recently but I wouldn't drink it every day.

No, fortunately.
Henry Westons "vintage" cider.

Not too sure of the rationale of folk drinking Tesco value lager. Not a cheap way to get pissed nor tasty I'd imagine.

You can get a bottle of vodka for less than a tenner in one of the Polish shops, much better if getting obliterated is the only motive for drinking. If I remember correctly some of that Tesco brand lager isn't even full strenght, I remember being at a houseparty once and cheapskate hosts had stocked the fridge with those brown cans of lager, it was like 3% or something like that.

Edit: Maybe the cans were green, not sure, anyway it shit

Good choice of cider. One of my favourites. Never tried Tesco Lager, sounds grim. How much does it cost?

I'm loving Cusqueña lager atm, nice and malty.

Tesco sure got more stylish since I left the UK, that label is quite well made, it looks like the packaging from one of those health drinks you but at Pret a Manger.

Yeah Tesco Value got discontinued as it did have a reputation for super super cheap and barely edible in many of the ranges so they to the "Tesco Everyday" brand with fancy lil hipster graphics/vege/organic looking symbols, but the same number of colours on the labels and same contents, so it doesn't actually cost em any more to print the packaging or make the product!

thank you italy for peroni

Over-rated and over priced. It's near £4.50 a pint for it round here, £5.25 in some place in Edinburgh. What a joke.

EDIT:
Better go ready, going for a few games of snooker and a few pints.
