high pulse on a lot of different substances even heroin?why?

I wonder what is wrong with me..i am 26 year old,athletic and active.But enjoys drugs in the weekend.But my heart rate always goes dangerously high when taken stimulants and even opiates and even in low doses...
I thought heroin would lower the pulse? i just injected a low speedball dose about 40mg cocaine\10mg heroin and my pulse did go up to 168bpm at the highest and it took about 10 min before it lowered to about 140 and another 10 min before it did go down to my "normal" pulse on a substance 120-130bpm..but aren't that also to high? i also gets high pulse on oxycodone,if you believe the heroin is cut with stimulantes(a 10mg dose is enough).I get high pulse on heroin alone.not as high as a speedball but still very strange to get high pulse on a downer..that is my last speedball though,is not worth dieing for, it was not even that great...
can it be the medication i am on? is there something i can do to lower my pulse?
i am currently using:
40 mg methylphenidate\ritalin depo(i skipped it today though)
50mg chlorprothixene\truxal(before bed)
45mg mirtazpine\remeron(before bed)
30mg Alimemazine\vallargan(also before bed)
i did only take half of a remeron(22.5mg) today because it is a nice opiate potentiater.It is not bedtime yet so the other medication havent been ingested yet.

No wonder. Thats how people die on speedballs. You cannot balance things just by adding a downer, will only make it worse.
The methylphenidate also doesn't helps, good skip.

I would recommend lowering your dosages in general, and this is even more important when a speedball combo is the case, because both drugs potentiate each other.

High blood pressure is no good, but alas, a go to the doctor can't hurt as well, maybe there's something underneath?

You are asking why your pulse goes up from stimulants and heroin mixed with stimulants?

Noradrenergic transporter manipulation and/or reuptake inhibition would be the easiest explanation Also, probably anxiety (perhaps from using stimulants too often, or perhaps just anxiety that was already here when you use opioids alone).

I apologize if my response comes off as glib but this isn't exactly rocket science.

What's the best course of action to counter this? Perhaps stop taking stimulants and get your anxiety treated. Beta Blockers are a fantastic resource for the somatic manifestation of anxiety but simply can not be mixed with stimulants and opioids like you use.

dude think about it, you are taking stimulants which are known to raise your heart-rate. just because you add heroin into the mix doesn't mean that your heart won't stop beating fast. there is science behind it, but i am njot going to get into that..

hmm..when you guys put it that way,i feel kinda stupid i believed heroin would bring my pulse down but it only raised the pulse.. when i used Oxycodone i also abused Ritalin,so then it explains the high pulse then. Think it is time for a break then ..but what does the emergency room treat you with if you have dangerous high pulse?

If it's an emergency situation, the cheap solution would be to give you a diuretic of some kind to make you urinate a lot. When the electrolytes are pissed out, blood pressure goes down. If the blood pressure issue is due to your actual heart rate then they might give you calcium channel blockers to slow it down; or they might give you ACE inhibitors if the whole system is showing hypertension.

It really depends. Blood pressure is not something you want to fuck around with, so I'd advise you to take a break from whatever it is you're doing. If you're already prone to hypertension then taking stimulants is bad news. Doesn't matter if you're 26 years old, if you abuse drugs your blood pressure can get messed up.

If it's stimulant-induced hypertension, benzodiazeines are the gold-standard but PLEASE don't take this as license to start abusing that class of drugs on top of the stimulants. It does not in any way make it safer, especially long-term and is best avoided outside of emergent situations administered by health care professionals.

thanks a lot guys..when the pulse is high i try to relax in a comfortable position ,move as little as possible and take deep breaths. is there something else i can do to lower my pulse?

hey dont take this wrong way buddy but listen maybe u need a break from s.balling like fo real our bodies cant do it for ever u will die ur heart will explode! be safe take her easy i know its hard i am on suboxone and klonopin and smke weed everyday cause of what ur doing now fkked me up for life!!!!
