Hey all!
Is it more harmful to take a large amount of a substance in a relatively short time(5 hours) than to take a small amount of a substance everyday? To be a bit more precise, over the course of a week the total amount of substance ingested is the same, whether it is done on one evening or divided equally over the whole week.
At first I thought binging would be more harmful, because of the extra stress on the body, dehydration etc. But I think taking something every day is habit-forming and will make a person dependent(physically) (and perhaps addicted) a lot quicker.
I know this question is substance dependent. I'm only interested in alcohol, benzodiazepines and d-amphetamine. Ps. I know d-amp isnt physically addictive.
please correct me if im wrong, criticism is always welcome. I know the question is ill-defined, because no numbers were given, so let's say:
Alcohol: 1 drink a day or 7 in a small period of time(5 hours)
Benzodiazepine: Diazepam 5 mg a day or 35 mg in 5 hours.
d-amp: 30 mg a day or 210 mg in 5 hours.
