i have been reading up on the new movement in the medical community to breed higher cbd strains (harlequin, cannatonic, etc) for treatment of certain medical conditions and my interest is piqued. i've never come across any of these strains here on the east coast but i am moving to a medical state soon and hoping that i can get ahold of some high-cbd oils to hopefully help with some health problems - generally auto-immune type symptoms (skin problems like rashes and acne, insomnia/poor sleep quality, low energy, muscle and joint aches/stiffness, anxiety, etc), nothing seriously life-threatening or anything but things that do seriously effect my quality of living, and have been very resistant to the plethora of other treatments i've tried.
reading about the high-cbd strains interested me particularly because a lot of these symptoms were not as bad when i used to be a very heavy smoker, but during the last few years i've cut back a lot because i dont like being high all the time, and the symptoms have gotten worse. cbd can treat a lot of these problems apparently so my thinking is that back when i was smoking all day every day i was getting a good dose of cbd, which helped my symptoms, but being so high from all the thc was starting to make it hard to think clearly or get anything done so i cut back on smoking and a lot of the symptoms then got worse again. so the idea of being able to get a good dose of cbd without being baked out of my mind all the time sounds very appealing.
so i was just wondering if anyone has experience with medical use of high-cbd strains and had any input?
