Hiding Spots

Sorta a little off topic, but I was coming back into the US from Canada and the office rwas routinely searching the trunk, and I had gone to a sex shop and bought a really nice, expensive vibrator/dildo while there. I declared the other stuff I purchased and didn't mention it, and the guard was taking his time looking around ,then suddenly slammed the trunk closed, gave the passports back and was like "Um have a good evening." I'm guessing he was like "eh" when he saw the sex toy...soo I second the hiding drugs in there, I'm sure he wasn't gonna check the battery compartment nor even touch the thing (plastic clearly isnt sealed around it since they open it in the store to make sure it works).

^if what you have is large, this is a reasonable idea. i hid my bong like this back in high school. my first time coming back to visit from college, my mom told me she had tried to move my desk and it broke so she threw it out.

^things like this are the way to go.

i know the sock drawer seems like too obvious of a hiding place, but you know how you have like 20 pairs rolled up socks plus all your boxers in there? what if a small bag of pot, blow, or pills was rolled into one of those pairs of socks? people would have to going through your sock drawer and individually checking all your socks to find it. if people are checking all your socks, then that's another problem.

inside a sock or pants pocket in the dirty laundry hamper can be effective too.

yea i never hide shit in my underwear or socks anymore, when i was a freshman my mom went snoopn and found all my slamming brutal death metal cds and she threw them away ahahha so i learned from that and just keep drugs and stuff in a jacket in the back of the closet like i said, it really is the perfect spot

I stash things in a shoebox in my wardrobe.. I have that many shoe boxes (one of the side effects of my shoe addiction) but only use one of them for stashing stuff, so I know which one it is and know my boyfriend won't go snooping looking for anything. He tends to go through my drawers, but I still do stash stuff in them every now and then. I have a rattan/wicker basket in my drawer thats slightly smaller than the drawer, so when the drawer is pulled out, you can't see the end of the basket, so stuff gets stashed behind the basket.

The sock drawer idea is a good idea, but you could also try putting your stash in something like an ornamental vase, or taped to the underside of a drawer/cupboard. You could even stash something (if its small enough and will fit) inside a DVD cover that has the disc tray removed. Do it to the cover of a DVD your girlfriend would HATE, because she won't pick it to watch it and will skim over it in your collection.. I could get away with it by hiding stuff in my King Of The Hill DVD's because my other half LOATHES that show. I could also hide it in my Queen and Johnny Cash dvds.. Sneaky, but efficient!
 
if your dresser touches the floor in a way you can't see under it you can take the bottom drawer out and put [x thing] in there.

put it inside a powder drink mix, one with a big tub. pour some of the drink powder into a bowl, put the thing inside the container (with some powder under it) and pour the powder back into the container.

behind books in a bookcase.

inside dvd boxes if it's small.

in the pocket of pants that are buried in the hamper.

in bags of chips, other dry food items.
