Hi! I'm Olivia, 19 and I'm drug addict. My biggest addiction is(ofc) speed. Other substances I'm likely to take are DXM, mj, Codeine, MDMA. I don't have any idea what more I can write, but I wanted to introduce myself a little. If you have any question, just write.

I have an account on similar discussion panel, but it's focused only on my country. There's a lot of drug users like me, and huge amount of other substances addicts. I just wanted to broad my mind in drugs issue so I decided to create account on site when I can meet people from other countries. I think that there's a lot of young speed addicts like me. I know that I fucked up my life a little.

I'm from Poland. Amphetamine was really popular there when I was a child. Now is also popular and it's easy to buy some, but I heard that it's worse than old polish amph.

I hear you. Same in the US. The quality has definitely gotten worse in time, according to people who i know that used back in the day.

Meth is just now starting to creep into the east coast of the united states from the south and the west. It's becoming an epidemic - started about a year ago.

I've tried meth one time, but when I got a ''hangover''(don't know how to say it when it comes about drugs) it was really terrible and my eyes were yellow! I was scared. And I just like old, ordinary amphetamine. It causes less damages - imo. My body is ruined enough. At the beginning of October I'm starting nursing studies, and I'm moving out from my parents' house. I'm worried about it, because I know that I will start to take more and more and more amph.

Thank you. But my biggest problem it's my fight between my love to speed and fact, I don't want to be drug user forever.

I used speed heavily for many many years along with methyl phendiate and vvyanse (purest form of pharamectiual speed on the market) especially to get through college. LSD managed to help me to stop eventually. Wish you all the best.

Do you think LSD is good way to stop taking drugs? I heard a lot about LSD and I know that is really hard drug, I mean LSD change you mind so hard. I want to try LSD one day, but for now - I think that it could be too much for my brain.

For some people i would say a magic mushroom trip is the best to quit addictions, I would say wait a few years til your 20's til trying LSD and do a bit of research on it. LSD saved my life personally. psychedelics are very different to any other drugs. I have seen one shroom trip cure friends of 5 year meth addictions but everybody is different. I use to love speed alot during the days where i would have to work long hours but eventually my use got out of hand. It took me about 8 trips til i saw i had to give it up one day but speed is one of the easier drugs to get off.

LSD isn’t a hard drug sweetheart, it’s not even a drug, it’s the anti drug. Right now you’re doing the worst drug for you mind and body period smh, you’re poisoning yourself. Acid doesn’t change your mind, it just makes what’s in there more accessible. It forces you to look at yourself honestly and that’s why it so often works to get off heavy shit like meth. Try it with a close friend that’s experienced, in a nice calm quite safe place

Hi! I'm Olivia, 19 and I'm drug addict.

Welcome, Olivia. We're happy you have chosen to join us.

At the beginning of October I'm starting nursing studies, and I'm moving out from my parents' house. I'm worried about it, because I know that I will start to take more and more and more amph.

That's awesome to have a plan forward, and nursing studies certainly would align with trying to understand drugs and what they can do to a body. The fear of moving out and trying to live on your own, especially knowing you have an addiction before you even head out the door, is understandable but should not become overwhelming. This community has many members who have faced similar situations and can share their experiences and advice in how to navigate this troubling time. It's best to not only have a goal (nursing) but a plan to get there and an understanding of what it takes to win at that plan.

...like knowing you don't want to always use drugs. There are some who will encourage the use to get you through, and others that will encourage you to stop so you build the sober stability for dealing with achieving your goals. The path is up to you, just know you have many here who will support however they can and offer you their insight on what may work or not, and why, and then support you with your choice of what to do going forward.

I heard a lot about LSD

As suggested, don't leap - though, joining up here to learn shows you are interested in learning before grabbing for something that 'might' help (and might make things worse). We have several forums of discussion that may be of use for you - the Other Drugs may have most of the discussion on meth and amph use as it's own subject, but you may also learn a bit from our Psychedelic Discussion on different other drugs people have found helpful for various reasons, but I would point you to our Recovery Support forums if you really wish to quite and include some time looking over topics in our Psychedelic Medicine section to see any research to the use of LSD or mushrooms, or anything else of that grouping specifically to see if it can help with breaking your current addiction.
