Yeah I found those work the best, not a fan of the torches except for blowing pipes. But yeah trying flicking a bic with your index finger, works very well

Smoke shops have those jet lighters and butane to refill it but be careful they are a bit much, they put out quite the flame or actually a small jet, hence the name. Derr..

That's a good point, you have to stay way off the pipe and the slightest flinch = a burned hand & dropped, broken pipe. X-nay on the jet lighter aay.
Sorry, bad idea. But you might find a regular refillable?

I've seen people use a Zippo too have done it probably 3 times, kinda awkward

Any more Tips on how to use and cleaning

Cleaning I used purple power, and let it dry after use. Could also boil water on stove and let the pipe soak , then use a qtip to clean. And the less in the pipe the better, you want to be able to spread the product as thin as possible to keep it from burning
