Hello from the UK! I'm completely new here so I hope I've done this right :\ my main interests are cannabis/marijuana and psychedelics. I smoke weed daily & take LSD/mushrooms about every couple of months. I have a group of friends in the UK who do similar things so am able to chat with them and share experiences etc. But I'm really excited that a forum like this exists where all kinds of people can come together to discuss things. I'm very interested in mental/physical health and the ways in which psychedelics and cannabinoids can be used to treat illness, I believe that knowledge and evidence of this is suppressed.

anyway, I was so glad to find the forum and I look forward to discussing all kinds of things and I just know I have lots to learn from you wise folk.

I'm new to the site as well, pleased to make your acquaintance from across the pond! I'm mainly into opiates/benzos but it's been 6 years as a daily habit. My teeth are gone and my soul is a no show until I spark up my bong at the end of the day when the opiates wear off. I'm hoping to make my recovery easier by withdrawing from the opiates and stepping up the cannabis along with several psychedelic voyages per year. Not sure how effective that will be considering the fact that my addiction is in a dangerous level of activity which is why I'm finally reaching out to others in our fucked up little community. I often have suicidal thoughts, but have never acted on them. I want to live as long as possible but at the rate I'm going as I type this, it won't be very long. So I come to you... the drug using community. Hope to hear back from you, Prnthc. You can call me Rob. I ain't scared lol.

Hi Rob. Wow, although obviously I don't share your experiences I have total respect for your honesty & complete empathy for your situation. I don't do opiates but have/had friends who have & I honestly think that governments should provide them to addicts. I mean real opiates, not synthetic drugs which are worse in many ways than the real thing. I view opiate addiction as a problem created by society, people naturally need a release from a society and individual circumstances which are unbearable for many. Anyway, thanks for the message and I hope that you're able to benefit from this forum and the advice available. You can call me Mel if you like, I ain't scared either!

Thanks for the reply & offer of help with the site. I'm navigating it all ok at the moment so hopefully you won't regret the offer. Thanks again ?
