Well uhm my names scott I'm from ausland I'm not on drugs recreationally I do take concerta(think that's how it's spealt) for ADHD

Welcome to BL. I’m sure you've had a look around already and seen a few of the great resources available. I myself was diagnosed with ADHD when I was in school, never taken medication for it though, would be interested in how you are finding the Ritalin (do they help, do you think? any side effects? How old are you if you don't mind me asking? How long and what dose are you on? etc)

I’m also in Aus, Gold Coast. Where about in AU are you (I promise I won’t come look through your shower window :P)

Couple of things:
I recommend checking out the greenlight guide (in the green box at the top of your page).
Also, the Mods and Staff here are all FANTASTIC. If you ever have any questions or need help, hit any of them up, they are great.
Hit up the social threads (Basic drug info social, and New member social), they are a great way to meet new friends.

thanks for the welcomes uhm i was diagnosed with it when i was in like year one at school so like 5ish uhm i used to take dex amp for it one in the morning and one at lunch but in year six they changed me to concerta uhm i dont think i have any sideeffects but then again i dont go a day without them so yeah execpt for some anger issuses but i dunno if thats to do with it not sure the dose but it has ALZA 36 on the side of it so thats probably the dose . uhm im in a small town NSW closest city like thing would probably be wagga wagga yeah id PM you but i cant for awhile =D.
 
Jeckel I'm in year 9 but I'm probably going to repeat due to lack of attendance and not doing assignments
 
ah kk.. Grade 9 for me SUCKED as well :P... hopefully you nail it next go round. Living in the middle of nowhere, how many students are at your school. Oh an on topic question, do you think that the concerta helps your concentration in classes? I'm not sure how long it lasts but if you take one in the morning and 1 at lunch do you notice any lack in concentration in your last class and the class you have before lunch. I guess I should do some research on the drug. I've never looked into what it really does/how it works.
 
I have xr or whatever it's called 1 a day dexies were 2 a day As for concentration I dunno even when I go without it I don't feel any diffrent as for the school I catch a bus because the local highschool is crap here and there's about maybe 2-350ish from k-10 at the school I go to

scott420...concerta is a time released version of ritalin (Methylphenidate). it is meant to release into your body throughout the day. simply type in Concerta into the search engine(located at the top of every page just under the log out function)then type in dexamphetamine. lots of threads will pop up-you can filter your search by using the advanced search function. The info is out there,all you have to do is want it enough to seek it out yourself.

If you are feeling angry when you don't have your medication, I would focus on sleeping in late (if possible). Before this gets you into trouble, if it persists, you can always go to the doctor and explain that you have issues with the restlessness and frustration that the medication brings you, there should be something they can do for you. :)

Always do your independent research before beginning new medications, this is something I hope everyone can do for themselves.
