This is my 2nd attempt to do this intro. Somehow the first one got lost in Internet Heaven.
My S/O of going on 6 years and I have lurked the forums for years now whenever we have a Dopers R Us question that has us stumped lol. Tonight after several searches, we couldn't find exactly what we were looking for. We both have lived. Our ROA is IV and as you can see from my username, our DOT. He's been "at it" for well over 5 years now and me for going on 3. His veins are like a fireman's hose... Mine are like long hair on a woman riding space mountain... You never know where exactly those little suckers will be by the next dose... Heck, even by the second rig for my dose. Lol
As much as we try to stay up on ordering new rigs from the internet, I always run into the same ol song and dance from the website we've used since the beginning of time. They wait the full 5 business days after receiving payment to put my 2-4 box order in the mailbox... Even when I pay for next day ? ? ?. It's not uncoon to be waiting for my purchase for upwards of 2 weeks... If it were my company, that would be simply unacceptable customer service. The only exchanges are a 6+ hour drive and without a diabetic card it's a fat chance to find a pharmacy to sell you one let alone a box or 4! So, sometimes junkies gotta do what they gotta do since there is no room for a quick purchase turn around time... Is there somewhere I could purchase via the internet that will put my purchase in the mail atleast within 48 hours of receiving my money?!
My next dilemma... Because of my freak of nature rolling, relocating itty bitty veins... I've dreamed of some sort of device that would allow one single needle insertion with the option to change out the syringe/barrel to prevent further damage to fair skinned self? It sucks being a pin cushion to get my entire little dose of 3 cc of junk. If that is just a fantasy that is not able to be purchased... Would it be ridiculous to use the same size needle as always ( 30G 5/16) with a 3 cc syringe? I really don't want to use anything bigger. I would imagine that would be a lot of force behind the itty bitty needle, but if I'm wrong I would love for someone to correct my thought process on it!
