Hi there! New Member Here - Just Trying To Understand The Rules & Navigate The Forum

Hi there!

My name is Natalie. I'm a Certified Crystal Healer and board certified accredited Registered Metaphysician. I just joined this forum out of my passion for discussing pharmacology, pharmokinetics, along with my own occasional recreational enjoyment of IV opiates and amphetamines. I'm currently floating through the rules and welcome messages, trying to get a clear understanding of the rules and navigate my way around. One big question I have is this... What does SWIM stand for? And, are we allowed to talk about our own recreational use of illegal substances in the proper categories of the site if we choose to or is this against the rules? Thank you and thank you for having me here!

Love,

SWIM stands for Someone Who Isn't Me. Welcome to Bluelight! I'm sure you'll be an awesome addition to the Bluelight gang :)

Welcome! I am new as well, and navigating the rules & regulations as well. I hope we both learn as much as possible! Take care, and enjoy.

Good day all. Welcome to Bluelight. Spending time reviewing the simple rules, will pay off big as you grow here. Learning here is simple. Go through the forum, read the descriptions and go from there. It is very easy to contribute here. Just start reading threads that interest you or contain information that you may want or need to know. Everyone wants to be a Bluelighter. That is a title you earn. Be yourself. We do not swim here. Make your posts count. Everyone here has something to contribute. The fact you found this community, shows you have potential. I'm Speed King. It has been a pleasure meeting you. If either of you have a question, don't be shy. Go to the correct forum and start a new thread. A lot of the questions asked are redundant to a point. Use the search engine if and when possible. Feel free to PM me if you have a question. Have fun. Learn and pay it forward.

Ah, why thank you for the welcome! I was hoping to ask some questions and just have some conversation that's not available on Erowid. Ironically the family that owns the site, (it's run on donations), is one of my best friends in real life. I keep telling them they should start a forum but they don't want to monitor it as they already work almost eight hours a day managing all their data and trip reports and the loads and loads of new info and crap that gets sent in everyday... So I was looking for a place similar to Erowid, except that was a forum. And that's how I ended up here! Again, thanks for the welcome :)
