an addict/alcoholic. my friend recommended this site to me. i don't trust or understand it yet. need some help. ive been clean from my "drug of choice" for about 2 months but i still drink everyday. i dont really know how to work this website or how to go about doing this but maybe someone out there can chat with me so i can stop making my friend uncomfortable talkin about shit i need to say and not hold it inside anymore. i have trust issues so it's hard for me to even post this, and i will probably sit here and drink till im not paranoid and okay with hitting "submit new thread"

can someone please fucking at least tell me how to work this site.

Many people use ethanol as a means to self-medicate when quitting hard(er) drugs. Ethanol is a hard drug too, especially considering it kills more brain cells than any other hard drug that humans willingly use today... but that set aside, I am proud of you for quitting!

My past-drug of choice was heroin, and I have been off of heroin for YEARS now!!! :D
