You might not have to worry about not hanging around. People have been permabanned recently, by the Nazi mod(s) for a lot less than you've said there. ;)

There were points a few weeks back where it was 30 degrees in UK and only 28 here in BKK.

The summers been unreal In London hitting almost 30 or so for weeks on end, not a cloud in the sky most days as well
loved every minute

And yeah he changed his name to Sammy G and yep still a doss cunt IMHO

I feel the love.

After 3 weeks of hardly drinking bar on Saturday nights (which are usually 15hr or more drinking sessions) and maybe the odd week night I've been half cut every night this week.

So tempted to pick up the phone and ask the shop downstairs to deliver me a couple of big bottles of Leo.

The restaurant and shop will deliver delicious food and booze to your room up until 3am for no extra cost other than the normal price.

It's a blessing and a curse.

I've already had a few in the pub and should just go to bed but bed seems like a shit option when there's booze to be drunk.

Dark here earlier than that. Say about 7pm it's dark.

Gets light around 6am. I'm rarely asleep by the time it's light but then often I'm awake till 9am-10am.

Fucking insomnia. :(

The heat is fine, its the Humidity that does you in, especially as nobody seems to have heard of air conditioning in this country
No stranger to humidity having worked in Singapore but it takes some adjusting to
Plus we get much longer summer days in London as we are so far north.

Much different to the really nice pleasant dry heat you get in places like California

I agree that Aus is a hell hole and I'm in no rush to go back.

Aircon in London?

I've never got my aircon on here in BKK and I'm very rarely hot.

Only time I feel the heat and sweat a little is when I walk a fair distance and I'm dressed up in shoes, jeans, long sleeve shirt.

Otherwise I'm fine.

Trick is NOT to spend all your time in aircon. All the Thai's I know are forever "ron mak mak" (too hot) and it's because at every opportunity they have the aircon blasting out full.

You do that and as soon as you go outside your sweating your bollocks off.

Keep it off most of the time and when you go outside you don't even notice the heat.
