Hi I'm new.

Hey! I'm 36 and was diagnosed with Crohn's at age 11. I could offer endless advice on that topic!

Doesn't give your age, which is fine, but if you are rather young then I would advise to be very careful with the pain meds. I got sucked in....very long story. Now when I have ER visits or hospitalizations, it becomes an all out battle over pain meds because my tolerance is so high, and the docs dont want to give me anywhere near what I require. THEN when it comes to surgeries....good lord, it is crazier.

Marijuana has been doing wonders for Crohns patients. The research is out there. I used to be anti-weed back in the day, but did a 180 after trying it out years ago. Among a number of positive things that took place, the biggest was probably that it took my insane pain away 100%.
 
can i ask what is Crohn's Disease? i'm not too educated on it. also welcome to the website ZRicK! it's very nice to have you here as a part of this community. Is there any portion of topic of the website you're interested in or would like to post to? each forum is a wonderful source of information; and feel free to give back to the community too :) but do read each user agreement or guideline in the sticky's and stuff. :P :)
