Hellllloooo! My name's Michelle. Im 22 years old, live in central florida. I have a 2 year old daughter and Im a stay at home mom.

9 months ago I went through complete hell detoxing from a heavy everyday benzo addiction/opiates. I was in the hospital for 12 days. seizures, hallucinations..you name it, i went through it. Cold turkey besides a IV bag of liquid food. Nice hospital,amirite? I'd rather jump off a bridge than ever go through that again.

I've been in recovery for 9 months now. I still smoke mary jane & dabble in other goodies every once in awhile. I suffer from severe bipolar 1 among other things.

Anyways, I love learning, reading, music etc. I've read this board for years now & thought I may as well join it considering I don't really have any IRL friends besides my husband of 5 years.

And just one more thing, just because I am in recovery (it's non optional for me, I was marchmen acted) doesn't mean I have anything against anyone who uses benzodiazapines. So, please don't talk that. I don't care what anyone does. Im not like that

People talk about how dangerous it can be going cold turkey on Benzos. That's why a recommended tapering down is the go, that must have totally sucked!
