Hello my name is anna, I am a former heroin addict who has been clean since January 6th, 2014. Things are coming together, but while sometimes I feel my life may be getting better, it progresses to become harder. Since quitting my drug addiction to intravenously injecting heroin for 4-5 years, I have repaired many aspects to my life, yet am left with no friend or course of a normal girl in her 20's life style. I feel lost very often.
 
Hello Anna and welcome 2 bluelight. How do you still manage to get high if you quit doing heroin? Just a question,coming from a heroin addict. I'm still going to get high,so not getting high is out of the question.
Just would like to stop seeking the high I would get on heroin, so been eatting assloads of hydrocodone10s. Am high,sept its that 'heavy' high, and not the same..
Better then wds tho,
Maybe share your insight with me one day on all of that.
 
Hello. I am also new to this. I am a 26 yr old male, I have recently left a very abusive relationship (not on my part). Well I'm in a hostel ATM, I am a self employed business owner. At this hostel I have met a girl, she sells her body for money or brown and is very apparently addicted to heroin. We have been talking for a few weeks now and I have discovered that this 29 year old heroin addict/lady of the night, is actually an incredibly bright, beautiful yet scared little girl. I want to help her stop and I know its possible because she truely wants to too so that's the first step done. Talking to her won't work, she is an older woman and set in her ways. What I wanted to ask is if I was to become addicted to h and then quit with her, from an addicts POV, would this help her? I would do anything to help her.
 
Thank you. It's always wonderful to hear that from someone. Sometimes I go after the inspiration first hand stories to help me get through,/not feel alone. Are you from new York by chance,?
 
Mistatboy, No, you need to stop being so impressionable. You are your own man, you don't need a women. Also you will still be a noob in her eyes. She needs support, a relief system, and lots of time. You will bring her the guilt of dragging someone down with her.

Glad to hear you are off that junk, congrats! I have never banged anything because I'm a scared pussy but I sure will kill myself with pills it seems. I'm clean what will be 100 hours tonight at 9pm. I feel like shit and my head is throbbing but here I am. If you can't find anyone to relate the internet is an awesome place for support! I'm 29 and I'm lucky I'm not dead from the dumb shit I've done. I know I'm ready to get my life back because this shit is a mess.
 
iamninja, you have to keep going with this! That's how I started (and a whole lot of people I know) I started with the gov't dope, the oxy, opana, fet, all that good stuff. Because it doesn't have the name heroin, and the gov't made it, it seem a lot safer, a lot better than H, but all that did was lead me down the road to insufflating and smoke H, then let to the rigs and banging it, just because the longer you do it, obviously the tolerance gets worse and worse, so a cheaper alternative is almost a must, when you safe a lot more using rigs what else are you suppose to do as a junkie, that all you ever want. Not to mention the whole hype of how amazing the rush is, that's what changes your life, keeps you screwed forever. You gotta keep going, find some subs or kratom if you need to, but don't give up. If a relapse happens then so be it, it doesn't mean you get to give up on quitting, and always remember, the drugs that you don't do is giving you body time to heal. Any bit, bag, line, if you can not do it, your helping yourself. You already did the hard part, making the first step.
 
Heroin lady of the night is gonna be lady of the night regardless you addicted, clean, helping her, not helping her, it doesn't matter. It's your choice do you wanna get addicted and risk your entire life and future for a random lady of the night? You're the one to answer that not me.
