Hi, I am GearJammer. Long time time listener, first time caller haha. Pushing thirty, I love smoking cannabis and tobacco, always together, through an improvised water pipe made from a plastic iced tea bottle. 2 grams a day, every day, since January 2009, save a break of 20 days in late 2011. I have had embedded unipolar depression since 2002, with brief mania presenting since 2011.
Currently using diverted pharmaceutical dextroamphetamine to self medicate my depression and "ring of fire" ADHD (which manifests with similar symptoms to both borderline personality disorder and fast cycling bipolar). 5mg tablets titrated from 5mg on days where I feel crummy up to 15mg on days where I need to do something unavoidable yet overwhelming. Usually sublingual ROA, sometimes rectal with a needleless syringe.
Right now, I am at a crossroads; will finally have some money for the first time in years and will be able to use the referral I got to a psychiatrist over 12 months ago. Going to press hard for selegiline as it sounds like a magic silver bullet for my exact scenario. Still unsure about the exact risk of hypertensive crisis when using dex and seleg in small, carefully titrated doses concurrently, but almost willing to risk it to reach my potential personally, academically and athletically.
