people say AZ is like the Aussie version of the US, it has a similar amount of crazy/dangerous animals (you still have us beat, probably)

that huntsman spider looks fucked, AZ has wolf spiders and tarantulas but they usually don't invade houses

we would always catch a few in april/may during the monsoon season, they would come out of the ground when it rained that season to breed I guess, they would burrow and hibernate for like 9 months every year.

Hibernating ground frogs. Amazing organisms.

We would catch them and extract their venom. We weren't that great at doing so, but definitely smoked plenty of toad venom. There was no manual back then, we used to use my friend's cat. Great stressor for the toad they'd squirt at the sight of a cat..

We always put them back in the dry river bed after harvesting

And yes huntsman spiders in Australia are pretty awesome, I love them. I love all spiders though, I really do. I'm so jealous of your big, placid, fluffy tarantula species <3 Our "tarantulas" are neither fluffy nor placid 😐

I love spiders as well. They symbolize the Tao. Very interesting creatures.

Tarantulas are cool 😎. Stepped on one once, that was unpleasant. My foot itched for weeks

loved my tarantula, a rosey toe species,she would kick her hairs if pissed, she was so fluffy, the hairs irritated, but they like to groom, she was so sweet, just not near a molt

@Robi , my friend had a tarantula he was playing around with it one night drunk had it on a pencil or something and then put it on his tongue and needless to say his hair is got in his lip or whatever so he came to work the next day with a swollen face . I couldn't stop laughing every time I saw him, and no you can't train spiders like you can cats and dogs just FYI, lmaoo
I would keep fucking with them and tell him to tuck the lip in a scaring away customers, lmao, both him and the spider are alright lmao.

Please do be cautious if you choose to go down the IRL route. Unfortunately in a community with almost half a million registered users theres realistically going to be a few bad eggs that may have alternative motives.

Maybe I should have used "DrugEnthusiast331" and THEN you would have been satisfied. You have to be young.who asks someone to change their username, because it bothers them? I wasn't even thinking about the word junkie, more like creating a username without Letters since this is a forum with relatively not many users. It was more a suggestion than a complaint lol. U coulda chosen something more creative without numbers, anyway I don't even remember writing this. I was definitely high on benzos or something, so pardon me if I offended u.
