Hi, Ive been doing coke and off for about 13-15 years. For the most part this was done strictly on weekends with my buddy. For the past couple of years it's become an issue and now days I always have a bag in my cig pack to do bumps. Now I realised that it's time to stop, but Im really concerned about how much harm I've done to my self and basically how long I have left to live. My heart was checked a year ago, no issues at that time. Still, dont really feel any affects on my health, but just really paranoid with what Im about to deal with as I get older. Any opinion? Do I still have a chance to make it to 80's if I quit drinking (just beer mostly) and coke? I now, sounds like a stupid question, but Im really paranoid. Thank you!

I'm no doctor but life expectancy isn't just determined by your lifestyle choices/diet and how much you exercise. Genetics are a big factor and also luck in my opinion.
Many people cane drugs & alcohol, eat badly, don't exercise & live to a ripe old age, whilst others live a totally healthy lifestyle & are struck down with a terminal illness relatively young

If your heart was checked a year ago and was fine and you stop the coke and alcohol now though, I'd say you've got every chance of making it to your eighties, but maybe have another check when you've stopped to put your mind at ease.

I'm relying on having inherited my Granny's stalwart genes that laughed in the face of Gin, Benzo's & Butter until she was nearly 90
