Hi I play poket for a living, oh and im hooked on oxycodone

Hi I'm 25 years old, live in Vegas and play poker for a living. and I recently well about a year ago started taking pain killers,
Vicoden for a dislocated shoulder I had surgery on. So they gave me about 40pills. 5mg.
And i took bout 3 a day for about 2 weeks. I liked the mild high they gave me. Never used any drugs
Before that. So my script was gone , didn't ask for more that was the end of that huh. It was only the beginning, a few months later I met a girl and she had some oxycodone 30mg, she offered some said they were like vics, so I said watha hell. I took half, and holy bolony I was on a cloud. Is never felt so Amazing in my life, not to mention we had sex for about 3 hours straight. ( exaggerating, more like 2:45) and then the night ended and i had just had a great night to say the least.

Any way, a week passes, the following weekend I remember how awesome I felt the previous weekend and i was hooked. Well at least on the weekends, I thought I had found a gift from god , a pill that makes u happy, social, fun, euphoric, and makes you have sex for hours, wow I was gonna be unstoppable on the weekends. So i continued in this manner for 3 months, everything was awesome. Then the worst thing in the world happened to me, labor day! So its Monday I'm bored no work, yea let's pop an oxy. Bad idea, cuz guess what happened the next Monday. Yup, bored, hey let's feel awesome again and bam! Long story short, around new years it got to the point where I started taking em every day for about 2 weeks, then I said I gotta stop, at this point I was taking a 30 mg oxy everyday. And it didn't even hit me anymore.

So i did, and holy boloni, I felt like crap, didn't know it then , do know now, withdrawal!!. So stayed off for about a month started up again only this time I had just won $6,500 at The MGM grand playing poker and decided to celebrate by buying 80 30 mg oxys. And 3 weeks later here I am now, I have built a tolerance up to 60 mg of oxy and ill still get a decent high on empty stomach. So what happened is I was running out down to 3 called dealer he didn't have any and i didn't want to feel those withdrawals again, so i weaned my self down a quick wean u could say, I took half 15mgs in mornin and night for 3 days, didn't feel em. But I didn't feel sick, so here i am now, 24 hours no oxy, took half suboxone no withdrawals at all.

Is it possible I'm in the clear and i don't have to take any more suboxone. Also I'm really thinking I gotta stop this, would love to be able to pop em only on the weekends to socialize but am afraid I may not be able to control it if I continue. Can you please give me some advice, is there anyone out there who's been able to control this drug and be able to use it seldomly. Id like to hear any and all advice or feedback. Also as far as the suboxone, does it maintain ur opiate tolerance high. Or will it be back to normal again, even if i keep taking suboxone. Thanks greatly appreciate it.
 
You might be fine without dosing another suboxone. I usually only dose once after relatively short binges, and I only experience a little bit of sleep trouble and restless legs for a night or two. Suboxone has a very long half-life, so if you are going to be feeling any withdrawal symptoms from this recent binge, they will probably take a few days to begin. Personally, I wouldn't take anymore suboxone unless it gets bad, which I doubt it will. If you decide to take it, just take .5 or 1mg. Suboxone is potent so anything above that will just prolong your withdrawals.

Also as far as the suboxone, does it maintain ur opiate tolerance high. Or will it be back to normal again, even if i keep taking suboxone.

Suboxone will maintain your opiate tolerance, and in some cases make it worse. This all depends on the dose though. Like I said before, suboxone is very potent, so you would have to take a very low dose to stay below the equivalent of the 60mg oxycodone you are tolerant to. A 2mg dose of suboxone is close to the same potency as 60mg of oxycodone to give you a relative idea of how suboxone compares to oxy. I find lower equivalent doses of suboxone to raise tolerance though, because the half-life makes it so that you have opiates in your system all the time if you take it regularly (or even every other day).

I would aim for a dose of .25-.5mg if you think it would help to take it regularly, but want your tolerance to be back down to 30mg of oxycodone.
 
man if you can have minimal withdrawls dont take a thing till you cant take it anymore, and when you cant take it anymore the the smallest does possible, hope you get lucky man iv been on subs for a year now and they are truely a miracle drug, just a bitch to start using other drugs again cuz they dont work for shit, takes forever to get the subs out of your system. good luck!
 
Ok so if i basically take this suboxone for 3 days. Let's say. 2mg. Will I still get a withdrawl , from the oxy.
Like is all this suboxones doing is delaying it. Or if after 3 days of subs. The 4th day. Will basically be like the 4th day of withdrawal from the oxy. Which is almost nothin by then. Also if i stop the sub on day 3, and say day 6 or 7 I wanna. Pop I 30 mg. Oxy
Will my tolerance have gone down a bit by then or more or less stayed the same.
 
Cuz I know that after not using anything for Like a week, you tolerance goes way down. Only thing is u get it right back with like 3 days

Like I said before, suboxone is potent, maybe even stronger than your current oxy dose. If you take suboxone 2mg of suboxone for 3 days then you will still experience withdrawals. Suboxone usually helps people more with bigger habits. Like if they are taking 200mg of oxy a day, then 2mg of suboxone will take away the withdrawals at first, and then make them more managable once the suboxone leaves the system. Your tolerance isn't that high though, so suboxone isn't a practical solution, unless you take a very small dose, like .25mg.

Suboxone is still an opiate, and can cause withdrawals on its own. You would still be taking an opiate if you switched from oxy to suboxone. You can't escape withdrawal from one opiate by switching to another. All you can do is ease the symptoms a bit by taking doses that are lower than the equivalent dose of the opiates you were taking.
 
what a story man i am in your exact same position and i can not seem to get any help on blue light, iv'e been on here for litterly 3 hours straight just trieng to figure out how to use this if anyone could message me or anything that can help me what so ever would be great i really need to ask a question but i can not find any help on this website at all!!! it's so frustrateing please by all means help me!!
