Hi Just a simple introduction....i"m deep into a relationship with a meth addict and i am a recovering addict/alkie of 20 years...it is quite difficult and I am here for help and support. I can't see kicking him out of my life, I just need insight and help and to remember i am powerless. I am at work so can't chat much but will more later.

Hey there and welcome to Bluelight. There are lots of great people on this site who can help with any questions you may have. And the mods are awesome too. That is great that you are recovering though.

I agree there are a lot of great people around here, but also a lot of them on various drugs and a few who are not always gentle with those hurting. So just be aware of the variety (BL's strongest point, IMO -- keeps it always interesting), and don't take too much to heart.
