Heylo. My buddy from a while back suggested BL to me. He thought I would enjoy the general splendor. And I did create a profile, but then, subsequently forgot about it. So, I don't know what made me think about it, the other day...but I have been on here reading in forums...and I just think that this is a very cool place to be. So, here I am, finally getting into the action.

About me, generally, grad student, speak-a the english & the es-panish. Read and write, pretty much, always. My profile name is based on imagery from a spanish play called La casa de Bernarda Alba. elbastonroto...the broken staff. It's cool if you know the play...or maybe not. ha

& fo' the record, baston should be bastón. Dropped the accent for simplicity. Looking forward to corresponding with some of you peoples. :\
 
¡GRACIAS! I think that it would be "la", because light is a feminine noun in Spanish...but hey...either one works, right? Sometimes, if it's an English proper noun, they just shove an "el" on that bad boy. Okay- I'm overthinking this. ha :D

And thanks- I'm liking it, just fine. Just getting the hang of it, I 'spose. :)
 
Hey there!! Great intro! I LOL'd @ "speak-a the english & the es-panish"! LOL! Awesome! I read and write pretty much as a constant as well.
