This site was recommended to me by a friend of mine as a resource for information about drugs and such. I have lurked here a bit and just today decided to make an account. I'm very interested in not only the experiences of drug use but drug culture and how they effect people(myself included) psychologically and also the more philosophical aspects pertaining to the greater subject of life, morality, meaning etc. I am also somewhat interested in how brain chemistry ties into all of this. In fact me and a few of my friends have spent a lot of time discussing these topics. I am glad I have found an internet place for intelligent conversation of these sorts. I have learned a lot from my experiences and ponderings and hope to share some of my knowledge, opinions, and information with people here at BL and continue to learn as well.

Well I've experimented quite a bit, and never taken a drug without researching so I have experience and at least moderate understanding of nearly all categories of drugs. The ones that really stand out to me are psychedelics as they have the most potential for spiritual transcendence as you might say, particularly crude plant forms and dissasociatives(a most unusual class of drugs) and LSD has always fascinated me. I would also like to learn more about RC psych's(2c compounds, mdma analogues etc.) and other synthetic psychedelics.

This seems like a very welcoming place to my kind and I think I'll fit in just fine here. Thanks theotherside.

Yes the 2c's are amazing chemicals. My two favorites are 2c-e and 2c-i. They are about as different as you can ask. 2c-i is easy going, creates amazing body euphoria, and can be rather stimulating. 2c-e is one of the most amazing visual trips you can have.

Remember that exploring the mind(or your spirit) shoud be done with caution and only after plenty of research has been done. Be safe!

There's some really great story over in Drug Culture from all over the place. You can see in the The Dark Side how people deal with and sometimes have difficulty dealing with the life as a drug user/addict.. You can see from some of my threads in there and posts how I progressed from a hippie stoner LSD muncher to a full blown heroin addict to back to stoner.

You'll see that there is some pretty amazing people here that you can learn a shit load from. Hope you have a great time here.
