Hi guys quick question about going from suboxone, to using dope

My dog has a quick question. He's prescribed suboxone and takes 8mgs divided in two doses, ever day. He's been taking this for the past 2 weeks for his dope habit (IV). Today the dog got some dope. Enough for 2 good shots. His question is, he last took suboxone around 9am this morning (sublingual films) and hasn't taken any since. The dog prepped a nice big shot, (.2) of very very very good quality h around 8pm and did feel NOTHING. not even the slightest feeling could be felt. Now normally before he was on the subs, he did .2 shots and was BLASTED and it is of the same quality this is. He thought he would feel something at least?! My dogs question is, if he waked up around 8 or 9 am tomorrow morning, since taking his last 4mg sub today at 9am, do you think that will be enough time for the sub to have left his system better? What he wants to know is, and he knows everybody reacts and metabolized drugs differently, is this an AVERAGE good enough time span for him to get any effects from his dope? Or will it be a waste? I know there is no definite answer, but he wants to know if anyone with a suboxone expericne may be able to enlighten him further and possibly give him some insight on this.
 
Thanks for the reply jay. The dogs going to wait this one out for 48hrs. He wished he could do the 72hr hold off but he is having a hard time doing so :(
 
Why are you giving your dog drugs? Bluelight does not condone or discuss giving animals drugs. So if you really are giving your dog drugs you're going to have to discuss that elsewhere.

HOWEVER,

We all know its you that you're talking about. Please edit your posts so you're using proper pronouns. Using "my dog", "SWIM" and the like are prohibited by the terms of use of this site.
 
I was on outpatient suboxone for about 3 months only sub then 3 months using, sub, using, sub, during both times I was receiving one 8mg sublingual tab every day, when I wanted to use I would wake up early the day before around 8am take my sub and then start using the following day around 2-4pm so I personally waited just 30-32 hours and I seemed to be able to get nice and high so I'm advising you to do this but that's what I did for quite some time and it worked every time
 
Awesome, I man! I will take your advise. I know the longer I wait the more high I'll get but hell, who has time to wait to get high? Lol. I am so broke as well and this is the only time I'll be using throughout my suboxone regiment at least for this month. Ok so I just did a shot, about .2 and I felt pretty good but not as high as I'd like to be. Oh well, I still felt something and I guess that's what counts.
