No probs - to edit your profile you go to the top of the screen. Under the big BLUELIGHT log you'll see two rows of tabs, look on the second row, the last but one tab "Forum Actions," scroll down to "Edit Profile." you'll come to another screen. On the left side, the third section of tabs - the third tab says "Edit Avatar," click that and you'll be able to edit your avatar which is the picture that comes by your ID when you post Your profile picture, which is the picture that's on your profile, you're not able to edit until you've made 50 posts.

Bluelight limits access for Greenlighters because some troublemakers try to abuse the site in order to sell / buy drugs etc so staff have to be careful. Once you've hit 50 posts you'll become a Bluelighter.

When you joined BL sends a welcome message - that's got very useful information about the site and what-not.
