I wanna introduce myself to everyone. my name is luke from Chicago and I have turned into a major dope fiend. I didn't start heroin till I was older 41 to be exact for pain issues. iv'e never been able to kick more than seven months using suboxone and some aa/na meetings. I always get bored and lose it when I save some money and it all goes to shit. I'm currently homeless and I'm probably going back into rehab soon its a nightmare now,any advice?

lukster2016, the rehab idea doesn't sound like a bad idea if you are homeless. it's almost winter time and it's going to be cold as fuck outside. so atleast you will have a warm bed to sleep at night if you are in rehab. I'm currently in a rehab program and have been clean almost 80 days now, it sucked for the first 2 months, then after that it got better. i got a sponsor and began working the twelve steps. it's a blessing that i'm at this point in my life because i would have died on the streets if i hadn't got any help.

'trust the processes', do an honest ad through 4th step, make those amends, and help another alcoholic. get a sponsor that will help you through those steps!
