Hi all,
well, I've had problems for the last 6 yrs with lorazepam. My pill pushing Pdoc decided I was a little jittery and started me out on this junk (read betrayal of trust back around 2001) Never said what he was giving me, just don't drink with it. Of course my next appointment a moth later I was tolorenced and experiencing problems. No problem we'll boot the dose. Long story short I wound up on 2mg 4 times a day for 8 yrs. I was on Effexor at the time and he tried to get me on prestiq, effexors patitent extender. well I tried it and felt like my head exploded, serious melt down. had to quit Effexor cold turkey and wean off lorazepam, took 5 months cutting back a little at a time. Spent 2 months with an avg of 2-3 hrs of sleep a day, then the constant anxity and panic attacks. After 3 months had to go back on lorazepam but it never really worked well. Now 6yrs later i'm still dealing with it, to make things a little worse I had to go on pain management for other reasons, oxycotin and oxy codone. Well for reasons I will discuss later, he drops me, so now I have the added pleasure of a CT With drawl.
My mind is a total mess,my thoughts are like a runaway train, can't control them unless someone talks me down, so here I am.
