Hi, I'm new to this forum and I need some help with Kratom questions. I suffer from pain everyday and I was on percocet 7.5mgs. I was taking 2 at a time and I wanted to get off the narcotic and take something "herbal." I found kratom and after everything I researched on kratom, it helps people with cronic pain and also give people the high of percocet and is totally awesome. They have said that the Maeng Da is the stongest version. So I order some Maeng Da capsules (600mgs) online and I took 8 at first and felt nothing. Then I took about 20 more and still nothing. I e-mailed the supplier and they told me I have a tolerance to it. Maybe take some vitamin B's, and also don't take any more than 8. So this morning I took 8 and 2 Vitamin B pills and still nothing. Can anyone please advise? Maeng Da is the most expensive in capsul form and from what everyone else out there is saying, it is suppose to give you a total high (like percocet), and your suppose to take it on an empty stomach. Well I've taken a lot and on an empty stomach and still nothing. Please help.

I have never had any form of kratom, UEI included, that gave me a high anywhere close to oxycodone or hydrocodone. It kills w/d symptoms and gives a different type of euphoria that is closer to tramadol IMO. You should check out our kratom megathread...just type kratom in the search engine.

Hey man, welcome to Bluelight!

There's a massive thread about kratomover in Other Drugs, your thread may get moved over there since this question concerns opiates and kratom, both subjects covered in Other Drugs.

Just so you know, vendor discussion is not allowed here per the rules.

As far as having tolerance problems with kratom, I recommend getting the powered form instead of the capsules and making the kratom tea. That way you have more power over dosage and drinking the tea works better overall than capsules in my experience.

If you have tolerance to opiates (it looks like you do) then you will have a tolerance to kratom, as they work with the same receptor. So don't expect a small amount of kratom to make it feel like the first few times you took opiates, however, it will work with appropriate dosage, something that varies because of method of preparation of the kratom, personal reaction, strain, and vendor. Vendors ship differing qualities of kratom as well, and sometimes label one strain as another just to sell more of it. So, don't lose hope, there are many ways to get kratom to work for you :)
