Hi back on bluelight after 14 years!! I loved it then and found so many cool like minded folks all supporting me on kicking methadone n heroin..., fas

Hey! Was on here years ago when I was battling kicking heroin and then a methadone reduction.., here I am ten plus years later and now I still use huge amounts of prescription drugs and I'm heavily addicted to cr***
This works a charm for many, many others struggle to take to it, fit it in, or basically afford it!

For those living in USA or the actual tropical lands of growth, production jt's a
mini-relative pittance and vs UK plus lots other regions 98% wider market reach virtually no shipping costs etc but...

Are you aware of kava?

It's not just a better road vs prescription i.e. pharmaceutical poisons, it's a fully clean track where viable.

Just mentioning. I used to "champion" it a lot, just for sake of potentially helping others.

Many it has too.

I can link you some basic resource if you think it could be worth exploration.

Welcome (back) to BL 2023 too.

(btw lol, I'm the sanest....maddest MF here ask anyone :))

I looked into kava. It seems some of the compounds are anxiolytics, some cause liver damage. I mean, check just how frequent that liver damage occurs. If it's saving someone's life it can be considered to be a DLR and so such issues are not of high priority.

Hi and sorry for the late reply! I'm rubbish at replying

I've never heard of this

Do you remember your name from back then?

I include a more scientific link first, then a more easy-to-read piece on the toxicity. The toxic lactone has been isolated, it seems.

The whole "kava causes liver damage" myth which still somehow lingers, or prevails through time like for example, Google Trends graph

I stuck LSD, Exstacy, MDMA in one.

Others v interesting. John Lennon WAY more googled vs anything Pink Floyd, surely most successful band rock history, including Barrett and Gilmour individually who were about pip & pip while...

Jim Morrisson represented by Green line I think, was escalons above the lot! Lol.

But. It stood out clearly. LSD as yellow, golden line. Virtually dead even course through time, no dips or leaps. Like orbiting.

Sorry there was connection in that throught off-spin but just been getting v high vaporising weed.

Oh I know! Analogy, the flat-line of LSD interest through ages

And this sham misinfo re kava & inherent liver toxicity.

Science rugged up a trick there.

There are 6 primary kavalactones in Noble, Instant & Micronized kava.

None of which have inherent liver toxicity or damaging properties.

Actually kavakactones are multiply preventative & curatively medicinal like cannabinoids.

Hence easy Pharma's near expenseless, age ago now too lingering con info.

Rat study. Injected with totally different kavalactones vs usual, at stupidly greater doses

No control- as flawed and sham as science gets.

Kava must never be combined with alcohol, the golden rule or yes, liver damage is assured as exactly same liver enzymes "process" kava, and "detox" alcohol.

Otherwise the old sham science continues to fuel that falsity.

Kava about doubly potentiates benzos too. Etiz + Kava real synergy and amplified effects.

Bromazolam and kava = sedating AF lol.

I'm working on this one atm.

It would appear to be to improper preparation. The specific lactones have been identified in Kava and demonstrated as being hepatotoxic. Those are cases in which the damage has come to light. Interesting that it seems to show up when used as a supplement which suggests that when traditionally prepared (i.e. total weight is not the issue), it's quite safe.

The figures do show a very low figure on a per-dose basis but if someone is taking it daily for years, those figures are disingenuous. Number of users to liver-damage is more useful, especially since they even STATE that chronic use seems to be the most common factor.

Nice to have you back.

Nice that you would have me back. It almost didn't happen but thankfully some senior mods checked out Dischord and could see what had happened, what I had done about it and let me back in. Initially someone sent me a PM asking why I changed my name and that it wasn't allowed... but since I couldn't respond to said PM, it would have been a roadblock. I presume the person just doesn't know how the BL BBS works. It happens.
