Hi all, I'm Joey (girl - I get that a lot lol but I am a girl) and have been a chronic pain patient for about 6 yrs now.
Unlike a lot of people that are on various boards, I do not have a specific diagnosis for the root cause of my issues.
I have some 'resultant' issues like bone spurs in my hip but since I have no diagnosis formally, I don't qualify for a lot of things that are diagnosis dependent. I have looked at other support sites but alot of those ppl talk in relation to their specific category. I'm at home all the time now and seldom leave except for my monthly trips to my Dr.
I was looking specifically for a pen pal or something who are interested in chatting (not live due to severe fatigue - must be email style) about life and challenges, new things to try etc.
I know this forum is not really geared towards this but I thought since at least some ppl here would have some similar med issues and experiences as I...so I thought " what the heck" I'll register here and see if anyone is up for this.
OR if there is a forum that anyone knows of that would be good for someone in my position, links are very welcome.
For anyone who might like to chat in the future tho: I'm a 40 yr female in the Northwest - empty nester - no other major health issues but is lucky to be awake most times of day (or I'm awake but you'd have trouble knowing it if you tried to talk to me lol)
