Hey! Im 28 yo girl and Im an addict =D! Whee heee so damn liberating being able to say it out loud- IM AN ADDICT!!!
Since my early twenties I ve been doing mainly amphetamines (speed), although I went through a phase when I did a lot of ecstasy (about 2 years of taking pills 4 or 5 days a week). Pretty surprised I dont glow in the dark, like.... :) Anyway, Ive not done an E-pill for a couple of years now and frankly Id be too scared to take one as the quality of Es in UK seriously deteriorated in the last few years.
Amphethamines are proving a lot harder to kick for me, it got to the point when I was taking them every day for a good couple of years . I liked how productive it made me and I felt like I had everything under control in my life... Funny how I managed to buy it from a source well away from where I lived and keep the whole thing a secret from everyone -none of my friends ever suspected that I was on drugs 24/7. In fact everyone thought I was this dead fit and healthy chick, a proper gym bunny!;)
I decided to try and stop about 6 weeks ago and surprisingly mentally it wasnt as hard as I remembered (says a lot about the quality of drugs nowdays).
Physically I obviously cant do as much exercise as I used to, so I put on a bit of weight, so I need to start getting my body back to how it was asap! Guess its a main attraction in amphethamine for me - weight loss and motivation/energy to exercise, I have no idea if I will be able to maintain my ideal body without drugs and I defo dont wanna be steadily putting on weight whilst staying clean..

Hello Verbina!!! I'm a fellow Londoner & just joined the site... & you have the honour of being my 1st post/reply!!! Glad you managed to kick the Billy... as from experience i remember how difficult it can be. I'm now 40yrs old & pretty much done it all... from illegal highs to legal highs, such as MDMA/Coke - 5/6 apb etc, & i always kept coming back to speed, despite it being the ba?tard child of far superior highs. Anyway, the fact that you've kept it a secret from people you know helps you... as you have no circle of friends or fellow co-dependents who may put temptation your way. Finally, don't worry about putting on a bit of weight initially... as speed slows your metabolism down & all those extra calories your now eating are taking longer to burn off... but in time your metabolism should speed back up, making it easier to lose the weight you've gained. Anyway, i'm starting to feel high now & i may start reciting my life story & then have serious regrets in the morning!!!
