Hello everyone 
I'm a long time lurker but just decided to join today. Don't really know why today other than I have a nasty, painful as all fuck ear infection so I'm just kinda sitting around doing nothing.
Quick info on me. I'm a guy in my mid thirties. Just moved to someplace in New England from New Jersey. Smoked a ton of weed til I was 17 and realized that I didn't really like it anymore. Too much paranoia. Besides I moved onto snorting cocaine and that was much better
At 18 I started shooting heroin daily as well as the cocaine for about ten years. The last four of those ten I was on methadone and shooting cocaine and smoking rock. I'd also shoot dope to help me with the crash from the coke though it obviously didn't get me high. Never really got that into pills back then but if they were there I'd take them. Did just about every drug at some point. Heroin was always my baby though no matter what else was around. At 27 I got locked up for possession. Wasn't my first time but I wanted to make it my last. I kicked a high dose of methadone cold turkey while in jail. Was four months before I started feeling better. When I got out I was off everything for the first time since I was like 12. I kinda liked it. I remained completely sober for seven years. Not even a beer during that time. Then about two years ago I decided to take a vicodin cuz shit was getting stressful in life. Off to the races again. This time around I started messing with pills. Didn't last too long though. I really kinda got scared that I was gonna start shooting dope again and decided to get on suboxone. I really don't like all the legal shit that comes along with being on heroin. Started at 16Mg a day and went up to 32Mg. Within the past month I've slowly come down to 10Mg a day and trying to get lower and then off. Also was taking 3Mg of klonopin but decided to cut that in half. So I guess for me there isn't really the recreational use anymore. I can't seem to keep the law out of my life while I'm shooting dope so I'd rather not even do it. Just trying to get off this shit again. That's what led me to the forum today. I get RLS really badly when I kick opiates and was looking at the thread about that trying to prepare for it when I get down to a really low dose of sub.
