Good morning.. I have been a lurker for a while, before and after registering. I am finally ready to jump in with both feet.
I look forward to learning (and possibly teaching, but highly doubtful LOL).. I am from way Down South, USA and have some questions regarding pain management, different medications and what to do when you have such a high tolerence built up.. I will save all of those for a different forum... just wanted to give a quick introduction here..
I am 38 years young (not that I feel young anymore
)In the past 18 months I have had 4 low back surgeries/fusions in L4-L5 and L5-S1 ... In the past 10 or so months I now have:
C3-4 spur and large disc bulge w. narrowing of nerve exit
C4-5 broad base disc bulge
C5-6 disc bulge
T6-7 disc bulge w/ protrusion at right w/ disc material
T10-11 mild ligamentum flavum
T11-12 severe DDD- large spur anteriorly and laterally to right
L2-3 broad based disc bulge
L3-4 broad based disc bulge w/ facet changes
L4-5 fusion w/ screws removed
L5-S1 fusion w/ screws removed
Yea.. my back is screwed up! No accident/injury, just blessed w/ a degenerative spine. Later today I'll post my question in another forum (once I figure out which one)... I have found pieces of answers by researching forum, but not full answers to my specific questions.. but I have no doubt you guys can help.. Thank you for being here!!!
