I'm brand new to bluelight. Due to several surgeries and radiation therapy I have abdominal adhesions. Because of radiation I also have gastroparesis (I can't spell either). I have a herniated disc between c5 and c6 and sciatica. Plus fibromyalgia. Anyway when I had insurance I was in pain management. Doc prescribed 50mcg fentanyl patch and 4 mg dilaudid every four hours plus the fentanyl pops for break through pain. I weaned myself down to 25mcg patch and 2mg every four hours. I am now on disability and have medicare, going back to pain management doc, do you think he will restart my therapy at the higher dosage? My average pain level is 8.5 with spikes to 10 an average of 4 times a week. Also how can I get the most out of these meds? I will not IV. Plug, maybe.
