I used to smoke a pipe. They are good fun! Although you get funny looks in the street when you're 16, strolling along the road puffing on a briar.

Funnily enough I watched this last night: How to smoke a pipe part 1

There is a technique, and there are risks, such as tongue bite, which you will learn about if you follow SmokeRingsPipeDreams' series of instructional videos.

Think me granddad used to smoke a pipe. Remember loving the smell of pipe tobacco as a wean. Was very young - one of the earliest memories I have probably. Might be why I've always hankered after a pipe. Or might just be cuz dey iz kewl %)

Erm... when was I on staff... think I got sacked on '10. Or might've been '11. Buggered if I can remember when I started though. My memory is shite. You're really not missing much cos I literally only have one or two pix when you can see me. Will dig 'em out and post in Nang. At some point :o

We used to smoke cigars at 14/15 on a friday night, take our Speed & as we were coming up smoke cigars for the extra Nicotine rush.
Still can't beat smoking a pipe in the street though.

Oh, I know where I am when I'm home, it's just getting there that I have a problem with sometimes. I've decided I'm kinda like a determined homing pigeon. I always seem to make it. But in all seriousness, I can't be doing those benzo/booze combos when I'm out and about anymore. Too much risky shit has taken place. Sometimes the only way you learn is by being involved in some incredibly foolish activities. :\

Thank you. It's actually nicer to the left of the photo, but if I post it, my location will be easier to pinpoint. Currently living with my mum and the cat. It's getting a little bit like Grey Gardens around here, sans the mess and raccoon's. :D

Hey so a few of us were thinking that it might be nice for anyone who's comfortable with it to post a happy picture of themselves in honour of Mugz and remembering how fun he was to have around. It'd be a nicer way to celebrate him than to feel miserable about it and argue with the lounge folks and all that. Plus he liked hanging out in the pic thread. I think he would've liked it :)

I'll start off. And Mugz I look like an idiot on this so you better appreciate it! <3

Personally pictures of my 18th birthday are to be kept stored buried deep down under dozens of folders of useless junk and never to be opened for anyone else to see.
They're pretty bad :D

Haha, those pics are great! Gave me a bit of a laugh even today.

This is a lovely idea Pagey. I don't post pictures of myself on here but I'll make an exception today. Here's a not funny but nice picture of me and Martin from 2010

This was after we got off the meph but before we got our house together.

This is in a pub in Cambridge. We'd just had lunch with my brother (who took the pic) and his family. Martin looks so happy. He had such a gorgeous smile. I'm really glad we had a few years of smiles together.

Even though I was the more 'together' one of the two of us, I'll never forget how safe Martin made me feel. I've never met anyone before or since who made me feel like that. It's like my inner demons were not scary any more because we shouldered our burdens together. <3
