He's such a star.

His first TWO owners physically hurt him so he's very jumpy. His breeder went to visit him at his first owners house and noticed he flinched every time he got near to pet him. Asking what had happened the owner fessed up to having hit him a couple of times. The breeder immediately took him back. Unfortunately his next owner took him to work with him (he was a labourer) but left him in the van all day. Unfortunately again he thought that the appropriate response to Flynn barking for attention was to hit him. We think he's been kicked as well due to a bit of rib feeling 'wrong' - it sticks out and is pretty uneven.

How anyone could do this to such a gorgeous dog I don't know but hey, people can be shits. I look at him now and think he's SOOOO lucky to be with my parents as they are great with dogs. He's very much loved and even rolls on his back for tummy rubs as often as he can! Still, he does flinch and jump at pretty much any surprising noise and any type of kitchen bin seems to scare the shit outta him. Poor sausage.

ahh i love dogs. compassionate mutual love, cant express it. rememeber when i was a lil kid out my auntys farm, used to run around exploring the sheds full of old tractors,, woods, fields, hours on end, skippy would follow me around n look after me, love them to bits. shed be like me lil guideance. it was kinda magical

thanks my beaut, a vallie and vodka and gin. nothing special, i often feel it, just dont express it. apart from when im spangled. all depends. for some reason i hold it back sometimes. half the time im too ruined to chohereantly articulately express it

I tend to find that the people that hit dogs are typically 99.9% male, and they don't usually stop at beating mans best friend. Typically woman beaters, older/larger father. Belittled, average intelligence. Inferiority complex.

And hitting things lesser makes one feel better! Rarr!

the "rage" i feel for people like that, and domestic abuse, fuck id love to let rip. justification. im a peaceful content person but i would absolutely rip apart people like that, rip them to fucking bits. no pent up feeling that i need to release, just a calm kinda..... i dunno what

Known Military wives who were married to quite senior staff take a beating as "as a part of being a military wife". More of a man to hit a door, a few rounds on a target, physical sport etc. Lots of options, beating the (potential) love of your life for your short-comings? Meh..

What???? are you fucking seriouis? who with morals, compassion and empathy does that? shocking and mind blowing. fuck human nature, fuck the world good riddance if a plauge ever hits us and wipes us out i couldnt give a fuck id greet it, embrace it, kinda dark but over the years of nature n everything....... a lotof us are nutters. money, the enslavory we've become in,

We may have the larger brains, but we evolve inwards! Deep dark shit. Most of us are guided by a fairly loose standard set of morals. What you define is "OK" isn't what defines the next guy. It isn't nice when you're in the flat/house next door and you can hear the physical beatings of the girl next doors who's only 7 stone wet.

Would have loved to of gone round for a Private Pyle style party ala Full Metal Jacket.

Some lovely pets in this thread. Agreed with the whole hurting animals thing. I'd happily do time, to cut up someone that does something like that.
