Hey there,
Ive really enjoyed reading this forum, so I decided to join the community.
I'm a 26 year old "recreational" user. That line gets blurred from time to time, swapping addictions and habits, constantly. I am looking forward to reading more about everyone's personal experiences and learning new things. I strongly bielive that if you are using drugs you should always educate yourself as much as you can to be as safe as possible. I try to adhere to this as much as i can in my older age, though in my younger years I was not so good about this. Im not here to promote the use of drugs, but offer my advice and experience to others to hopefully give them perspective to make the most informed and safest decisions for themselves.
Ive been an addict for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories as a young child was discovering sugar in the pantry and eating by the spoonful, it was quite a high for a 5 year old. Even as I progressed in age and I went through public school and they had there anti drug education agenda, I was always fascinated by them. As a youth i was ashamed to be so interested and I always knew deep down I would use them one day. I expressed an outword opposition against substance abuse, that lasted till I was about 16. My first taste and I knew then more than ever I wanted to try more and more and experience everything it had to offer. Naive.
Ive had my ups and extreme downs, fairly stable at the moment but my desire to get high has destroyed a lot of things in my life not to mention ruining the most important relationship in my life. As an addict these are consequences ive accepted and an fully aware of.
Thats a basic introduction of me. I cant wait to share my thoughts and experiences with the community and hears yours as well.
