Hey Everyone!

Hello, my name is Justin. I am from Kansas City and I am 24 years old. I just recently got out of the US Army as an infantryman and am currently in the process of getting used to a civilian lifestyle. Web development, Graphic design (Photoshop), and PC-Game Mod-ing are huge hobbies of mine; However, I love to read! Before I joined the Army I was very familiar with Erowid and would pretty much find my self on that website on a daily basis reading the "Experiences" vault on the website. A friend I game with, recommended that I check out Bluelight, and being that I love to read and develop, I find this forum very helpful and interesting. Bluelight seems VERY organized and has helped me with some personal resources for myself before I even made an account. So anyways, glad to be a member and hope to meet some nice people on this forum.

The current featured forum is Basic Drug Discussion - it's a great place to start if you have any burning questions you want answering, and we have a social thread full of lovely people if you want to get to know your fellow BLers. Take a look at the sticky at the top of this forum for more info, hope to see you in there! :)

The Trip Reports forum is a great read and it sounds like the sort of thing you'd enjoy if you like reading Erowid's experience vaults :)

However, can you explain more in detail what "stickies" are? I looked above and didn't see anything..

Welcome to Bluelight Justin :)

Stickies are threads with a purple shading which have been "Stuck" to the top of the forum. This way, when normal threads get replied too, the sticky's don't get lost down the page.
