Hi all. I'm a psychology student and I've signed up to this site with a view to possibly advertising an online survey in the not too distant future. I am in the 2nd year of a Master of Clinical Psychology degree and am considering doing a study about IV drug use. I will also introduce myself in the researcher section of the site but thought I would say g'day here first.

I'm interested in the act of injecting itself. Specifically, I'm thinking about doing a study assessing personality dimensions, as well as some other factors yet to be determined, of people who inject. As you may be aware, for some people who want to stop using drugs, their goal is made more difficult by their desire to inject. I'm interested in whether personality plays a role in this.

Interesting! Would you study people who have no plans on quitting?
