New here myself.
And Like yourself, opiate free (7 days for me now) and an on and off love affair with those insidious little pills that became such a part of my life I wondered often if I could live without them.
How is your WD going?
The worst of my WDs have mostly passed. No more RLS that left my sleepless for the first two nights. (have been using gabepentin since then which helps me greatly)
I still think about those damn pills all the time, but am determined to stay opiate free, get my life back, and get my brain back where it needs to be to function without the opiate.
