well i joined BL because i am an addict in recovery that just relapsed after more than a year clean. i figured i can learn more about my addiction from real people rather than just counselors. unfortunately i didn't read all the rules fully and was shutdown in my first post. after which i read the user agreement more closely and found my way here.
i carry with me more than 25 years of drug use and abuse and sobriety. most recently i cleaned up after a 5 year heroin addiction and a bad benzo habit. hopefully i will be able to help others with my experiences at the same time learn from others. there are many people here with vast amounts of knowledge on many different aspects of the drug culture.
well, i better go read the rules again before my nest post..:\

well i kind of previewd the rules.....but it's a lot to take in all at once and i was anxious to start a discussion about having a habit. lucky for me one of the moderators gave me some useful tips. it's a good community.
 
thanks to everyone who has been helpful. i've gone through the user agreements and the rules, i've looked at the different forums and i think i have a better understanding of how things work here.
i've seen a few forums like BL and this is by far the best one. i agree there must be rules or else it quickly decends into chaotic madness. seems like drug use really effects peoples judgement.
some exaples of this are the threads on other sites that openly advertise the sale of prescription medications for a price. i can't believe the idiots that will respond to this madness.....especially the posts that claim they sent the seller $$$ but never received any produst. their lucky they didn't get a pair of handcuffs and some charges.
well i'm looking forward to joing some of the discussions and debates.
