So I'm a 22 year old guy with, obviously, an interest in experimentation and exploring the uses of various illicit substances. My primary area of interest in this realm is with hallucinogenics and the mind altering properties they have. I think the world, and life, is a pretty silly place, and that these substances do something really interesting to that. I have a curiosity to experience the diverse range of possible mental states and textures of reality contained within existence.

As it stands, I'm not nearly as experienced as I'd like to be, I'm still a novice in this world, and that's why I'm here!

To learn how to color my experiences with new shades.

Welcome to BL :)
Glad you're here with us & a part of our awesome forums & family.
Well, if you're into (or curious about) psychedelics/hallucinogenics then I think you're deffinately in the right place. We've got some great people here with an immense amount of reliable, accurate information to share with you about things like that.
Having said that, i personally think It's always a great start to ask some of our ambassadors like Captian H, TrainSpotter, ComfortablyNumb & Evey to point you in the right direction so you can find the threads with the most relevant info to your subject (DoC). Not to mention they're also some of the nicest, friendliest & most knowledgable guys & gals that I know ;)
Anyhows, welcome again to BlueLight & I hope you have a great time here as well as finding the answers & information you're looking for.
Peace & Aloha,
~ N3f ✌:)

Hey Kurt, I'm a newbie to the forum too, however am very experienced in some topics you would seem to be interested in. Some real basic advice though is to take your time! If you're really interested in so called experimenting, then really take the time after each experience to think about not just the immediate experience, but also how it affected your perception afterwards, how your body reacts weeks or even months after, and also to track that curious mental state called craving. Too much all at once clouds what there is to be gained in knowledge and experience IMO. I remember everythibg about the first time I went upside down on a roller coaster over 15 years ago! But I don't remember anything about the 2nd time, if you know what I mean. Good luck on your journey!
