Hi guys, just joined here after doing a search about what happened to me last night lol

I take amitriptyline for my TMJ disorder and have just been prescribed dihydrocodeine by my doctor. Last night I had a migraine so took 50mg of amitriptyline and 60mg of dihydrocodeine and I kept day dreaming really vivid dreams then snapping out of it and realised I was still at home. It was a bit scary but nice at the same time if that makes sense?? Is it normal for these two drugs to interact in that way? :?

I would imagine that amitriptyline in of itself can cause vivid dreams. Generally speaking a single event is hard to categorize as there is often more then one variable effecting the outcome of something. So it is possible that it was one or both of the drugs but it could also have been you ate something that caused you to sleep lighter and interfere with your dreaming patterns. Dreams are often remembered when someone isnt sleeping deeply because if you are remembering it then you are "awake" enough to process it as a memory.

Lots of things effect dreaming but it wouldnt surprise me if that did have something to do with it.
