Hi my name is 'Fizicks online. I don't know really what to put here so I'll simply cop/paste my bio from registration and maybe expand on a couple of points. I don't know if you wanted a whole life story so I believe I've trimmed 16 years down to the more pertinent details: I'm a (almost) 34 year old jut now completing his Masters in Physics (started very late - you'll see why) After a rocky childhood (but amazing school performance) both parents ended up dying suddenly when I was 17. I ended up in a shelter in a very bad end of town and that's when my weed/shrooms use went out the door and the coke/crack/meth began. Along with some "here and there" stuff like K, PCP and Peyote. Not around regularly) Never being an idiot I managed to find a job and a place to live and was a somewhat "functioning addict" for a for years on that trio. When it all was really hitting a big downward spiral I decided "well, I'll use opiates to quit". After a couple of years of combining oxys and blow (no meth or crack any longer) I decided to get rid of the blow and used benzos (Nitrazepam and Clonazepam for the long half lifes) and did manage to get rid of blow as well. However, that was four years ago and, after a hellish detox from oxy, I still smoke weed several times daily as well as continue to use benzos quite heavily just to get through. So I'm far from a success story but have been to the some low bottoms and am now completing my Masters in Physics and then doing a PhD dissertation. Hopefully I'll get off benzos sometime - weed I'm down to do for life. Just looking for good conversation with other - shall we say "down to earth" users on this board as opposed to what you get on the street lo details. I enjoy debating. Not so much politics but science, modern philosophy (Bertrand Russell and on), theology and anything else. I could also spend hours and hours talking drugs and have spent literally hours going from thread to thread on this amazing site. Hopefully I'll fit in haha
