Hey I'm pretty chill about stuff. I'm not super hardcore with drugs and don't really smoke or anything. I'm 5 months into the tramadol around 4-5 hundred mgs a day

Welcome to Bluelight takedatrams! :)
I hope you find the answers you may be looking for. We have a lot of threads and depending on your goals you can see what better suits you. As you might know Tramadol is mild opioid analgesic and the regular dose is in between 50-100 mg.
So be careful with your tolerance so that you might keep it low and safe.

I've read 1gram doses will cause seizures. I love trams too. I like to take about250 mgs a day. I love the buzz and it lasts all day for me.

400mg a day is the maximum that is suggested (not in one dose) - If you are taking other medications then they can also interact with the tramadol and cause problems.

I have found that I get much more out of Tramadol by keeping the doses low.

Welcome to the site

Hi
I've been a lurker on this site for many years and this is my first post as a blue lighter. I too found myself taking way too much Tramadol for a few years and am now on Suboxone because of it. Yes i have been laughed at by H and the more harder opiate users needing sub for tramadol. I got quite excited when i saw your post. Finally im not the only one. I was taking up to 800mg most days a mix of slow and fast release. At first they made me feel like superwoman but then, like all substances, I needed more and more. I am wondering if you know not to take SSRIS with Tramadol? Causes Seratonin Syndrome apparantly. I have been on and off Benzos for 20 years (i was prescribed way too young when i probably needed a kick up the ass) and i developed a pretty nasty xanax habit alongside the Trams. I found i got nervy and couldnt sleep on Tramadol and took xanax to counteract this. I then found xanax and tramadol was an excellent high for me but not so excellent for my short term memory. I think ppl should be wary of taking Tram in high doses for a longer period of time. It is addictive and is not as innocent as made out by pharma companies. I know i had horrid wd, hence the sub. Everything in moderation if you can. If you can't than don't start at all.

Yes I agree. Also even though tramadol is considered pretty weak it still can be addictive so yeah don't feel ashamed :)
