Where to begin....
10 yrs ago diagnosed with Crohn's. First time I got sick my gp started writing me perc scripts.....
So began the love/hate opiate relationship. Love em in excess. Hate when they're gone. Full blown WDs every two weeks off 300mg perc a day is definitely hate. Moreover "therapeutic" doses have never been enough to deal with the misery that is Crohns.
However, still want to find a way to enjoy those two weeks a month as they are the only time pain free:/))

Welcome to BL. I sorry to hear you are in so much pain. I have a chronic illness too and have problems with the side effects I get from prescription drugs. Although I can't know completely what its like because I don't have Crohn's, I do know how it feels to be in terrible pain and to be reliant on pills to help ease the pain a little.
