so i cant prep a shot for later cuz my girl is on my case so my ? is can i load my syringe now n shoot it in a couple hours? do i need to put it in the fridge?and last ? lets say i want 2 keep it till the morning can i or will it go bad or loose its petency. my girl will be here soon say i need a quick response thanx alot guys
 
Your procedure violates the sterile conditions imposed on syringes. In other words, you can get a huge infection from using it that way.
 
If you prep it and leave it in the syringe it won't be big deal a couple hours later, but if you leave it overnight, a majority of the heroin will have turned into morphine. It'll still get you high, but it won't be heroin anymore or at least not for the most part.

Edit: Poster above me is completely right. Should definitely mention that it's not sterile by any means to do this. Although it may not end up being a problem for and most likely would not be, it is in your best interest to not leave the shot in the syringe for any extended period of time due to this allowing any bacteria already in the water will begin to grow exponentially in warm, stagnant water. The fridge idea would slow this down, but not prevent it.

I think that takes a few days to be mostly morphine.

Totach, I don't get why you couldn't just hide it all and prepare it when you need to shoot it? why would it help to have the shot ready?
 
Pretty sure it only takes 24 hours to go from heroin ---> morphine.

i agree with everyone lol...bacteria and infectious substances can collect almost everywhere...

prep it, bang it, done, period....dont let it sit
 
If anyone has some sort of source to show exactly the rate at which heroin hydrolysis into morphine, I'd love to see it, just so I can know for sure how that works. I know I've heard that leaving it out overnight as in 8 hours or so will allow it to turn mostly into morphine.
 
well totach mentioned something about putting it in the fridge..what exactly would that do?

id almost accept it to separate, thus possibly fermenting
 
Prep it when you need to shoot it.

Have you ever used the bathroom before? Typically (but not always) bathrooms have doors with doorknobs which allow you to lock the door from the inside. This way, you can shoot up in privacy.

It's a lot safer than prepping a shot and leaving it to sit out all night long.

With bacteriostatic water, leaving it for 12 hours won't be a problem (I know I dissolved some meth into bacteriostatic water and used it up to 2-3 days later without issue).

Since this has run its course I'm going to close it.
