The sublingual films felt very different than the tablets of those for some reason (a bit better for a while) but I believe those were worse withdrawals once they turned on me. The other ones were small batch vendors.

Either way I truly wish the best for your journey whichever way you take it. Again hope that made sense (stupid migraine flares have me thinking foggy).

So numerous months ago I researched how to "derive 7OH" from kratom powder and the "bubble method" seemed to be the most widespread homebrew technique utilized, or at least the one I found the most information about.
I'm mentioning that because of the "lemon juice" chatter.
Long story short, with the quality of the tabs I get at the price I've got them at, and the level of tolerance I have, it wasn't worth pursuing.
I will say that I believe I have been able to get very clean product, in other words no nasty solvents or otherwise harmful byproducts, with the vendor I have settled on.
There's been 2 exceptions that I'm aware of. 1 alleged "pseudo tab" didn't help my pain relief much and made me sweat, and had a strange taste.
Also just recently I tried a strawberry flavored tab and I almost always let tabs dissolve under my tongue for max effect. Well, these tasted like a teaspoon of strawberry jelly mixed with a pound of truck tires that had been on fire.

Honestly it's a good description. No real "problems" with them physically, unlike some others from elsewhere, but NAA-STY tasting.
They were quickly removed from availability, so I may not have been the only complaint.
