Hello everyone. Thought I'd introduce myself. Been reading everyone elses posts and a lot of the blogs and such for a while. Joined a few days ago. I live in West Texas, or as I refer to it...the armpit of Hell. I have done opiates for about ten years but just got into them heavier about four years ago when I messed up my back. A story I'm sure we've all heard before. Did everything I could get my hands on in high school then calmed down in college, graduated then got hurt. Now if I had the friends I did then I'd be up to no good again but I take hyrdos, dilaudid, percs, demerol or whatever other opiate I can get my hands on when my script runs out. Recently my mother died going through w/d and I found her. Horrible experience which is why I jumped on the boards. Nice to know I'm not alone but also sad...

Hey sooner, just wanted to say hi... I'm a noob too but have been lurking around long enough to see what a wonderful, supportive community this is. I'm real sorry to hear about your mom, mine took her own life four years ago, and getting through the pain has been difficult. Please stay strong, and please try not to go off the deep end. We're all here if you need to talk.
